A Poem

A poem is like a beautiful song,

That is sung all day long.

A poem is graceful like the bird who soars,

Or majestic like the lion who roars.

A poem can be read here or there,

And it can raise every hair.

A poem can be recited while drinking a beer,

And make those who read it shead a tear.

A poem can be read while you have Malaria,

And you might think that it is just hilarious.

A poem can be recited by someone snooty and rich,

But they might think that it is stupid and throw it in a ditch.

A poem is a way to express yourself,

But you might, just might, impress yourself.
